Yesterday I ate pempek two times. Man this is a delicious dish made of mainly mackarel with or without chicken egg inside of it.
Pempek is from Palembang, Indonesia. What you see here is the one with egg inside. The pickles, noodles, and rice noodles are the additions to make pempek more delicious and satiate, while the main things of it are the fishball and the sauce. The sauce is made from vinegar, brown sugar, chilli, and of course water.
I'm gonna have this amazing culinary again this afternoon. :D
